Being a busy boy...

Lots of interesting work on the go, but no time to write about it....!

Brand Content/Photography/Editorial pitch looks like it is going ahead; designing the summer t-shirt range for a retailer; finishing a website and bringing stuff together on my Gossage documentary project...

All good.

My entry for the National Portrait Photography Prize

Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me! Fantastic shoot - 3 weeks planning, but only 35 minutes on location - a beautiful moment captured, or happy accident if you're being less generous!

What would dave do...

A little bit cheesy, but strong messages behind it...

Research comes on... interview with David Brower, founder of Friends of the Earth

Exciting developments on my documentary project... starting to turn ideas into reality and this man is at the heart of it... This was filmed just before his death, so bear with him - they are some of the wisest words you'll hear

Atonement - The Haunting beauty of sound

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScPZIX62CL4

Am sure I'm behind the curve here, but this film just blew my mind last night.

Led by a literary masterpiece from the hand of McEwan, the cinematography is beautiful, casting superb and to top it all the sound design is truely spectacular... more than worthy of its oscar.  This scene just keeps playing in my head, made even more haunting by the knowledge took part in the withdrawl at Dunkirk, after losing his eye to Schrapnel during the evacuation...

Streetcar - a recommendation

Fantastic customer service, easy as pie to set up, and very clever, but simple technology...

Take that as a recommendation!
